David Beaulieu

David Beaulieu holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the École de technologie supérieure de Montréal (ÉTS) and a postgraduate diploma specializing in the management of cultural organizations from the Hautes études commerciales de Montréal (HEC) .
Since the end of his studies, he has worked in the artistic, media and teaching worlds. He has collaborated with several visual and digital artists in the technical design of their projects and as technical director at Molior in the logistics of exhibitions presented in Canada and internationally.
David was a props man, then a research and development project manager for Cirque du Soleil for numerous shows. He was also a teacher in audiovisual technology at the Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
David is currently a lecturer in computer science at ÉTS. He has been president of the Montreal chapter of SMPTE since 2019 and chairman of the board of Molior since 2012.
Since 2013, he has worked for CBC/Radio-Canada, initially as a media project engineer and now as a system architect, where he works to develop and improve media production solutions.
